If you use your WJ for traveling off-road, green laning or moving objects around (boats, logs, etc) and would like the piece of mind of having a self-recovery winch, or ease of moving those objects, then the hidden winch mount is for you! If you are like most WJ owners, then you love the look and styling of your WJs stylish front end and really don't want a heavy and bulky front bumper just to attach a winch. The hidden winch mount sits fully behind the standard bumper with only the rope hawse or fairlead on show.

This mount is perfect for those who are/know/would like to employ their own professional welder. This mount comes flat and unwelded and without fixing ready for you to build yourself. A construction diagram is included. 100% designed and hand-made in the UK. All fixings and instructions included. Delivered primered and ready to weld and paint. Welded into one-piece design with multi-point bolt on support brackets and bilateral reinforcement gussets.

Mounts to your vehicle using 14 bolts; 7 Bolts on each side which include four factory bolt mounting locations on the frame rail. Heavy-Duty Solid construction will outlast your Jeep. Mounts fully behind your factory bumper - Retaining unmodified look. Easy installation can be done by anyone with basic power tool skills. Does not restrict air-flow to your radiator like some other winch mounts/bumpers.

Does not extend the front end of your Jeep. Fully compatible with our dual or single recovery eyes (see other listings). Package includes (1) Winch Mount, (14) Bolts, (14) Nyloc Nuts. Also included are washers for use in installation and printed photographic instruction manual.

The 8mm Plate Steel Winch Mount will replace the thin sheet metal box on front of your radiator. You are required to cut this box out using a power cutting tool such as an angle grinder or hack saw.

This part is also known as cross-member. Requires cutting of plastic bumper. We cut our bumper using a dremel tool.

Winch, fairlead and winch cable/rope not included. Made to fit most 9,500 lbs winches with a maximum winch height of 6.5. The solenoid box will need to be mounted in a different location, which we discuss in our instruction manual.

Since the WJ is a uni-body, we recommend a maximum 9,500lbs winch. Installation by a professional is recommended, unless you are competent with power tools. Compatible with all OEM front bumpers, however some models may require more cutting. Our installation instructions provide tips on cutting the Limited Bumper.

All hidden winch mounts are plasma or laser cut to order and carry a 2 working week lead time. We may at times be able to deliver your winch mount earlier than this.
