Jeep AX5 RWD or 4WD 5 Speed Manual Transmission. This rebuild kit is for the 5 speed AX5 transmission. On the end of the countershaft and a 23mm wide input bearing (32TM03 or 32BCS4-2). It is very important that you measure your input bearing before purchasing this kit!

In 1987 the AX5 used different input bearings and used both the snap ring and nut option on the end of the countershaft. This transmission was used in the following Jeep applications: CJ2A, CJ3A, CJ5, CJ6, CJ7, CJ8, Cherokee, Grand Cherokee, Comanche, Jeepster, Scrambler, Wagoneer & Wrangler. 5 Speed 4 Cylinder 2.5L 1987-02.
